Drake keep your hopess high honey. I know times you feel lonely & cold. I feel the same way but I have hope. You will find someone to trust one day. You have to be patient & get to know me when I want to get to know you. Be positive you will meet me one day but you have to promise to give me a chance if you want to find the real me. If not then you miss out on finding Real love. Your true love has lots of patience & is understanding. A good listener & into romance. Down to earth, real & honest. Drizzy, EFF all these hoes and bitches on here! if you want to get to know a person, im the one for you, but im not gonna rush you. you are a busy man, and you know where your expectations are in LIFE. but its been weird because since you came out here on your bday, its like you have been in my dreams, and ive been thinking about you, and its like my dream has came true or something. ive been going through your main pages and looking at everything you type on twitter, facebook, and NEVER on tumblr, because i know how scared you are with your generation. TUMBLR is basically just all pics that you can show to everyone, but im on it too only (sometimes) not quite often though. But i sure would like to get to know you so much more, what you do really want to do with a woman that you can trust?? i cant trust anyone in 2012, just like what you wrote. Youre very mature for your age, and i love that for a guy. and it kinda turns me on sometimes! i know that theres other ppl writing you, but i am the one that you are looking for, not to be effed up or anything. I LOVE you so much.

Ok, Nomad (Formerlly "Goodfoot") sells the Away From Home Tour Varsity jackets. They are located in Toronto, of course. But the jackets always come in limited limited limited supply and fakes don't include the "Take Care" updated embrodery on the upper front.

FYI on "WHY" Ludacris is upset:

Ludacris dropped a mixtape yesterday, and a couple of tracks in particular have a lot of people talking. There's an internet's worth of speculation going on, but first, some background:

In an interview with AllHipHop, Drake spoke about the hashtag flow, also known as the "Supa Dupa" flow, and he explained that he believes Big Sean was the originator:

To be honest, that flow, you can trace it back to like…I trace it back to Big Sean. That’s the first guy I heard utilize that flow throughout the duration of a verse. I’ll give him that credit. I think Kanye got it from him. Me and Wayne found a dope way to do it. I don’t want to sound cocky, but the best way its been used was on “Forever.” Those lines just all individually make so much sense. They’re all punchlines. Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world. I don’t want to offend somebody…I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] “It’s a parade! MACY’S!”

That Macy's line, of course, was from Ludacris' "My Chick Bad." During a later interview with MTV, Big Sean was asked about the flow. He responded:

“I think some artists just did it so wack man. Every time I say names I get in trouble and it’s like I’m dissing, but some people used it wack. If he said Ludacris used it wack, hey.”

Those two interviews laid down the groundwork for a beef between Ludacris and the tagteam of Big Sean and Drake, but that was back in February and March. Months passed, and we didn't hear anything from Luda. Until yesterday.

About halfway through Luda's 1.21 Gigawatts: Back To The First Time mixtape, there's an interlude called "History Lesson." It traces the hashtag flow all the way back in time, running through snippets of the flow being used by multiple rappers over the years and ending in 1991 with Q-Tip. This seems like a clear response from Luda—his presentation of evidence that Big Sean was not the first to use the flow.

"History Lesson" was just the beginning of Luda's response. The next track on the mixtape is called "Bada Boom," and this is where Luda really goes in. No names are mentioned, but throughout the song, the veteran rapper makes it pretty clear what he's talking about. Here are some of the lines in quesion:

"Counterfeit rappers say I'm stealing they flows, but I can't steal what you never made up bitch/Y'all some duplicate rap cloning niggas/I manufacture you hoes put on your makeup bitch.

"Let me explain, nothing's been new since Big Daddy Kane/Flows will get recycled, passed around to different names."

Y'all get a couple hit records, make some noise and have the nerve to start shouting?/Who's gassing 'em?

You lyin' to yourself, just admit it/May not like the way I used it, but you know you ain't invent it, boy/Do your research before you make a claim so bogus that's disrespecting pioneers in the game.

'My Chick Bad' went platinum, still winning motherfucker!"

This has been a long time coming, but it looks like Ludacris finally got tired of holding back.

Yo... Drake is just doing him! Can y'all stop hating. Try putting yourself in his position with all kinds of pressure. The boy is doing it! Making great music and just three years into this game is doing better than anyone's who was just beginning...

Come see me! I will flip off the haters in person. :)

The whole Ludacris thing IS Ludacris. It' like arguing who invented the "POST IT".

Who was first to publish a copyright album with Hash Tag Flow... Just wondering. "Forever" and "Over" by Drake was released late 2008, almost four years ago... Unless Luda has something before that, he didn't invent it. "My Chick Bad" wasn't released until 2010. People were doing Hash Tag Flow for nearly two years before Ludacris "My Chick Bad" ever came out. Luda did not invent Hash Tag if it was already there. Hash Tag was a style Luda listened to for two years and copied.

Then again Kanye might say Curtis Mayfield or Monica with Jay-Z, but other people that prefer "Drake-ism" argue that the lyrics and vocals by Mayfield and Monica are not Hash Tag. I disagree with Kanye because Curtis Mayfield and Monica were great vocalists, but their metaphoric style was obviously not Hash Tag.

Other people think it's Young Money that did Hash Tag first. I think it was Young Money that is credited to of course, Big Sean... for what song? Idk. Where is this "supposed" song from Big Sean? I'd like to hear it. When was it published? No one mentions what song... Young Money needs to clarify this. Unless there is something earlier than "Forever" and "Over", Hash Tag Flow was invented in 2008 by Drake, Drake invented it.

http://www.metafilter.com/98912/Hashtag-rap-a-summary

Hot 97 needs to check records with Big Sean and Drake. The radio station needs to fix this and let everyone know who invented what. That's all I want to say.

The Thanksgiving buffet in Vegas ROCKS!!! Is Tyga still in town too... Idk? The weather is warmer. You should stay awhile... Lol! :)
Love ya,
-M

Sorry, Big Sean, but Drake "Forever" made in late 2008, came out August 22, 2009, and was released on BET September 22, 2009.

"Supa Dupa" was released September 30, 2009; Big Sean happened later.

@Anonymous 5:47am recognition for Jay-Z? Who is a Jay-Z? A man. I'm not trying to come at you at all. This idol worship of man is just sickening. Jay-Z calls himself Jayhovah. That is so blasphemous. He is a rapper. He has since evolved into a businessman but he is still a man. He is no god. There is only one God. I guess when people have you sitting on their shoulders, you can't help but believe the hype. I pray I never get that way. It's false pride and you know what they say....pride comes before the fall.

Anonymous said...

@bonafide:

nice argument... kinda. but clearly you didn't hear the Ludacris song "Bada Boom", because preluding the song is an interlude called "History lesson", where Ludacris actually does the work of tracing the origin of the so-called hashtag flow all the way from now with the drake/bigsean/...etc etc etc.../methodman/biggie/...etc etc etc... to way back ending with Q-Tip in 1990s.

it's actually very well done. give it a listen if u get the chance.

ps. i'm not sure who really said what and how this all got blow out of proportion, but if Drake did say that Ludacris was wack for using the macy day parade line then i don't think he really meant any harm and Luda took this way too personally. i mean, there are a lot of mainstream rappers (Lil'Wayne included) who have REALLY bad one liners.

The claims that Ludacris invented Hash Tag Flow with Q-tip in September of 2009 is not warranted because:

1. The lyrics to Q-tip rhymes, but lacks metaphors that substitute "like" and "as". The lyrics, though they rhyme, have no metaphors, do not even remotely Hash Tag Flow.

2. The date Luda invented "Qtip" was invented after both Drake and Big Sean had their hits. With Q-tip, which was released later, Ludacris did in fact copy them.

3. Then Ludacris attacks Drake and Big Sean with "Bada Boom" which shows bad sportsmanship.

I respect Ludacris as an artist. He is creative. He is a true fighter, as he fought with T.I. back in the day, but might doesn't make right, and Luda didn't invent Hash Tag Flow.

Drake's tweet
@BigSean You awlready know. I wish they'd just let young niggas live...respect always

Drake still has respect for Ludacris.
http://rapfix.mtv.com/2011/11/21/drake-responds-to-ludacris-diss-track-bada-boom-on-twitter/

I had the dates wrong...Sean released a second mixtape hosted by Mick Boogie on April 16, 2009, called UKNOWBIGSEAN. It featured the songs "Million Dollars", "Get'cha Some" and "Supa Dupa".

Still Drake's "Forever" was released in late 2008, which is earlier than Big Sean's "Supa Dupa" from April 16, 2009.

***********************************
FOREVER still wins...

Still Drake is the earliest for Hash Tag Flow with "Forever" which was cut in early 2008 and leaked. Jay-Z even called it the best posse cut of the year.

Read it and weep.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forever_%28Drake_song%29

The track was produced by Boi-1da and originally used by Kardinal Offishall featuring Rock City in early 2008 as "Bring It Back". Kardinal did not use the song for his album and it was later re-sold to Drake which was released in late-2008 as "I Want This Forever" featuring Lil Wayne and Nut da Kidd. In an interview, Kardinal stated that his version was a leaked demo, and was supposed to appear on his album, Not 4 Sale, as well as a soundtrack. He also revealed that Drake wrote the hook, "He had written it and then we were supposed to get either Rock City or Akon or T-Pain to sing it." The 2009 version of "Forever" features Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. Rapper Jay-Z called it the best posse cut of the year.

Drake did in fact invent Hash Tag Flow with "Forever" in late 2008.

Let's quash this now... What is the exact date for "Forever" release? Can anyone find a earlier date for published Hash Tag Flow than late 2008? I think this might be it.

BonafideSexyG said...

For Ludacris fans, Hash Tag Flow is not only a series of rhymes, it is metaphors that omit "like" and "as".

This is Hash Tag Flow at it's finest.

Forever

Last name ever,
first name greatest,
like a sprained ankle boy I ain’t nuttin to play with,
started off local, but thanks to all the haters,
i know G4 pilots on a first name basis,
and your city faded off the brown, Nino,
she insists she got more class, we know!
swimming in the money come and find me, Nemo,
if i was at the club you know I ball’d, chemo,
drop the mixtape that sh-t sounded like an album
who’d have thought a country wide tour would be the outcome
labels want my name beside the X like Malcolm
everybody got a deal, I did it without one,
yeah n-gga i’m about my business,
killing all these rappers you would swear I had a hit list,
everyone who doubted me is asking for forgiveness,
if you aint been a part of it at least you got to witness,
b-tches,

Take that... For all the Drake haters, show me an earlier better version of that, and I'll be a believer. Lol!!! ;)

@bonafide:

what the hell are u talking about? i'm sorry, u lost me there for a sec... k, first listen to the ludacris interlude called "History Lesson". He doesn't ever say that he created the hashtag flow. Instead he traces all the rappers who used it starting from 2011.... all the way back to 1991 where the rapper Q-Tip (if you don't know who this is, then you don't reallyy do not know hiphop) was the first person to use it. He goes on to say in the song "Bada Boom" that the rapper Big Daddy Kane (again, if you don't know who this is, then you do not know hiphop) was the first person to create rap flows in general, and hiphop artist's will continue to recycle his flow through time. So for ANYONE (Drake and Big Sean included) to say that they were the ones to invent this flow, which Q-Tip started back in 1991, after Big Daddy Kane pioneered rap, is insulting. I completely agree with Ludacris on this point. Too many young hiphop artist's think they're doing something new, when in fact, they are just copying their flows from some of hiphop's pioneers.

History Lesson Interlude in which Ludacris runs through snippets from Cam’ron (2003), Method Man (1998), Biggie (1997) and Q-Tip (1991) all using the so called hashtag flow over the years.

If you think Drake's lyrics from "Forever" are anything ner Q-Tip's lyrics, you must be stoopid.

@Winning that's Bs bc wasn't Big Sean beefin with Drake about him copying him?? That's bullshit if he's saying Ludicris is copying him now bc Ludicris was one of the first comedian rappers to do all that crazy funny stuff in his music videos also Missy Elliott too. Big Sean is a new rap Artist adjusting to fame. He is different as a rap artist but I don't think he's over the top omg I never seen that before new..

You have a collection of older generation of artists that I'm not familiar with, I admit that, claiming they did it all first... Okay... If they started Hash Tag Flow with Cam’ron (2003), Method Man (1998), Biggie (1997) and Q-Tip (1991) all using the flow over the years.

Which songs from what artist? What is the title of the song? When were the songs released? Then we will look at them.

My problem with believing that they invented Hash Tag Flow back then, no disrespect to their pioneering, but why wasn't the term "Hash Tag Flow" coined way back when? My only answer to that is because it's a new thing.

It's like saying Michael Jackson didn't invent break dancing because people have been break dancing from the beginning of time... Give a guy due credit... Lol! Just saying :)

BonafideSexyG said...

Hey Anony, I think I know what you're talking about... Am I right?

http://www.2dopeboyz.com/2011/11/16/your-2dope-opinion-ludacris-responds-to-drake-big-sean/

This is Ludacris' big argument that he invented Hash Tag Flow... Listen to the first music . Luda says, "that flow must have been 20 years ago... I must have stole that shit from myself..."

Ludacris is awesome funny, but all the music samples Luda gave were one or two liners, not even a full 4-6 bars, no song title, no album title, no release date. Some of the bars were rhyming only, and some used "as" and "like" which Hash Tag avoids. Some of the samples Ludacris gave are not valid. Ludacris was vague in his argument. He needs to be more specific. I wasn't satisfied with the clips.

@bonafide:

It was never named, 'hashtag' or 'supa dupa', until Big Sean dubbed the style 'supa dupa' and claimed he invented it. Twenty years ago, it was just a brand new style of rapping which Q-Tip actually invented.
If we're going to use analogies, then let's talk basketball. Julius Erving is a legend to the game; who created the modern style of playing back in the 70s that led to the style of play that you see today. Then comes along Michael Jordan in the 90s; using the exact same style of play and becoming famous off of it. Fans started branding Jordan and claiming that he was original when clearly true fans of the sport know better. Likewise, you could say that Q-Tip started this style of rap in the 90s. Fastforward to 2011, and you have both Big Sean and Drake using the same style, and now branding it the 'hashtag' or 'supa dupa' flow.

Ok? And now just for fun, I'm going to school you on the Ludacris' 'History Lesson':

Drake "Over" - Thank me later(2010)
"Making sure the Young Money ship is never sinkin / Bout to set it off in this bitch...Jada Pinkett."

Big Sean "Supa Dupa Lemonade" - Finally Famous Vol 3: BIG (2009)
"And if she’s on my pipe, I will make her go down...Draino / Tell that bitch to eat her heart out...Kano"

Bobby V "Beep" Remix ft Ludacris, Lil'Wayne - Rebirth(2008)
"She got her rocks off, and I got the cops off / In my fire red lamborghini........hot sauce."

Kanye West "Good Life" ft T-Pain - Graduation(2007)
"Y'all pop the trunk, I pop the hood...Ferrari / And she got that ass, I got to look...sorry / Haters give me them salty looks...Lawry's"

Cam'Ron "Dipset Anthem" ft Juelz Santana- Diplomatic Immunity(2003)
"I'm on the westside of Chicago, lookin' for a bust down / And make me put my two arms up...touchdown."

Method Man "Cradle Rock" ft Left Eye, Booster - Tical 2000: Judgement Day(1998)
"The aliens we just landed and you in the way / overthrow these niggas planet...Independence Day."

Puff Daddy "All about the Benjamins" Remix ft The LOX, Lil'Kim, Notorious BIG - No Way Out(2007)
"Make it hard to figure me, liquor be, kickin me in the asshole / undercover...Donnie Brasco."

A Tribe Called Quest "Buggin' Out" - The Low End Theory(1991)
"Zulu Nation, brothers that's creation / Minds get flooded...ejaculation."

FYI: A Tribe Called Quest consists of Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, and Ali Shaheed. Drake does pay tribute to them on the song "Show me a Good Time" from Thank Me Later(2010) with the line:
"Tell me, can we kick it like Ali Shaheed and Phife Dawg/People hate it when a backpack rapper get rich and start living that life dog"
For those who don't know, "Can I Kick It?" was the group's third single from their debut album in 1991 that helped revolutionize the entire hiphop movement.

There is a documentary called "Beats, Rhymes, & Life: The travels of A Tribe Called Quest" (2011) by Michael Rapaport, that is well worth the watch for anyone that is interested in checking out.

BonafideSexyG said...

Hey Anony... if we all want to be really ridiculous, we could say the traditional Zulu tribe in South Africa in the 16th century invented Hash Tag Flow!!! LMAO... :)

EVERYONE TODAY IS A COPY CAT!!! :)

2 New Flows said...

Also worth googling for kicks are two new flows that Drake has come up with:

1) The Angry Kitten Flow
As seen in:

"Over My Dead Body" -
"Don't make me take your life apart boy / You and whoever the fuck gave you your start boy / you wanna be a [sings] motherfuckin funny guyyyyyyyyy..."

"Headlines" -
"You know good and well that you don't wanna problem like that / You gon make someone around me catch a body like that / [sings] Ooooooh no, don't do it."

"Marvin's Room" -
"Her white friend said 'you niggas crazy' / I hope no one heard that / [sings] cause if they did we gon be in some troubbbbbbbbbbbblllllllllllleeeeee."

It's where Drake raps a few intimidating lines, then delivers the most intimidating part of that line in the softest and least intimidating singing voice ever.

2) The High Note Flow
As seen in:

"Round of Applause" Remix -
"She could've pay tuition five times still strippin / just throw a couple bills, and shes have [high note] a pair of heels"

"Underground Kings" -
"That was back in the days, Acura days / I was a cold dude, I'm getting back [high note] to my ways"

It's where Drake randomly draws attention to the end of a line by saying the last word in the highest note possible like you just swallowed a tank full of helium.

If we go back to 1991, A Tribe Called Quest (which included Q-tip), wrote Bugging Out. This is their song.

Buggin' Out Lyrics
Artist(Band):A Tribe Called Quest

[Phife Dawg]
Yo, microphone check one two what is this
The five foot assassin with the ruffneck business
I float like gravity, never had a cavity
Got more rhymes than the Winans's got family
No need to sweat Arsenio to gain some type of fame
No shame in my game cause I'll always be the same
Styles upon styles upon styles is what I have
You wanna diss the Phifer but you still don't know the half
I sport New Balance sneakers to avoid a narrow path
Messin round with this you catch (Ass) the sizin of em (Balls)I never half step cause I'm not a half stepper
Drink a lot of soda so they call me Dr. Pepper
Refuse to com-pete with BS competition
Your name ain't Special Ed so won't you Seckle With the Mission
I never walk the streets, think it's all about me
Even though deep in my heart, it really could be
I just try my best to like go all out
Some might even say yo shorty black you're buggin' out

[Q-Tip]
Uhhh, uhhh, uhhh, uh!
Zulu Nation, brothers that's creation
Minds get flooded, ejaculation
right on the two inch tape
The Abstract poet incognito, runsss the cape
Not the best not the worst and occasionally I curse to get my
point across, so bust, the floss
As I go in betweeen, the grit and the dirt
Listen to the mission listen Miss as I do work, umm
as I crack the, monotone
Children of the jazz so, get your own
Smokin all the weed cause they try to do me
or the best of the pack but they can't do rap
For it's Abstract, orig-inal
You can't get your own and that's, pitiful
I know I'd be the man if I cold yanked the plug
on R&B, but I can't and that's bugged

Buggin out, buggin out, buggin out you're buggin out (repeat 8X)

[Phife Dawg]
Yo when you bug out, you usually have a reason for the action
Sometimes you don't it's just for mere satisfaction
People be houndin, always surroundin
Pulsin, just like a migraine poundin
You don't really fret, you stay in your sense
Come an fight your feeling, of absolute tense
You soar off to another world, deep in your mind
But people seem to take that, as being unkind
"Oh yo he's acting stank," really on a regal?
A man of the fame not a man of the people
Believe that if you wanna but I tell you this much
Riding on the train with no dough, sucks
Once again a case of your feet in my Nike's
If a crowd is in my realm I'm saying -- mic please
Hip-hop is living, can't yank the plug
if you do the result, will end up kind of bugged

[Q-Tip]
Yo, I am not an invalid although I used to smoke the weed out
Ali Shaheed Muhammad used to say I had to be out
Schemin on the cookies with the crazy boomin back buns
Pushin on the real (ass) hardest (dick) so we can have the big fun
When I left for Rosie I was Boulevard status
Battling a MC was when Tip was at his baddest
It was one MC after one MC
What the world could they be wanting see from little old me
Do I have the formula to save the world?
Or was it just because I used to swipe the women and all the girls
I'm the type of brother with the crazy extended hand kid
Dissed by all my brothers I was all up what my man did
Supposed to be my man but now I wonder cause you're feeble
I go out with the strongest and I seperate the evils
it's your brain against my mind, for those about to boot out
All you nasty critters even though you see I bug out

Buggin out, buggin out, buggin out you're buggin out (repeat 8X)

@BonaFide lol @ Zulu tribe comment. There is nothing new under the sun. We just like to think otherwise. It serves the psyche. It's all been repackaged and resold.

I'm wondering if there is a difference between Hash Tag Rap and Hash Tag Flow because Q-tip uses his format very loosely. He's more of a free format and stumbled upon it because he doesn't use it consecutively. They are spread out.

This is definitely Hash Tag:

Zulu Nation, brothers that's creation
Minds get flooded, ejaculation

There are only one double bar by Q-tip. Idk if that's enough to qualify it as a complete Hash Tag Flow... It is most def Hash Tag though, more stumbled upon than anything. It's more of a rhyme, a rap, than a flow.

Let me show you the difference with Big Sean then we'll have to check out Method Man in 1998 and compare his Hash Tag Flow.

This is Supa Dupa by Big Sean... Every bar except for the ending is almost all Hash Tag Flow. It's not a one liner, 4-6 bars... it's the WHOLE song. Check this out.

Supa Dupa lyrics
I am a supa, dupa, troopa
Used to the bottom - scuba
So I'm on the grind - skateboard or scoota,
'Till I am the king of my castle - Koopa,
Dawg i took a shot in the dark in an industry of sharks
That's surrounded by water - Cuba,
I can make an Einstein’s mind feel stoopa
And I can make an insecure bitch feel supa
Realest nigga eva - Kunta Kinte
Ultra - master, super - sensei
Dawg, in the ninth inning
We’re just trying to hit a homer - marge
Comprende? Hard - al dente
MJ - Jordan or Jackson
Only difference is, I ain’t fucking with these kids
Sean - Big
A problem too big - trig
You niggas ain’t shit - pissed - tsk tsk

2X
I does it, I I does it (Does it)
And I’m gonna make this look like nothin' (nothin')
Watch me make this look like nothin' (it's nothin')
I'm gonna make this look like nothin'

I am Solo, Dolo
When they see me on my high horse - polo
You see what I’m wearin, I know those
Hoes'll want the same thing - homo
Elton, JoJo
Made for the block - O’Neil, Romo
You hated on the block - robo po-po
But more important-ly
The story of my life, is to get glory off of mic’s - Quincy
Remember that the F, F doesn’t stand for Fendy
Finally Famous - you are an attendee
You are labeled small - indie
Scene me, or sent me
And I’m expected to blow - Lindsay
And if she’s on my pipe, I will make her go down - Draino
Tell that bitch to eat her heart out - Caino
Hannibal, Cannibal,
Sean, the man up in the hood
Mechanical, this is the manual.

2X
I does it, I I does it (Does it)
And I’m gonna make this look like nothing (nothin)
Watch me make this look like nothing (its nothin)
I'm gonna make this look like nothin

This is why Big Sean wants credit... The whole song, except the last 4 bars, Supa Dupa is a Hash Tag Flow.

Fast Forward... 1998... Seven years later to Method Man with his song "Judgement Day". This is a very clever song.

Judgement Day
First.. there was the collapse of civilization
Anarchy, genocide, starvation
Then.. when it seemed like shit couldn't get any more fucked up
We got The Plague
The Living Death
Closing his icy grip around the whole planet
Then the rumors started
The last hardcore MC's.. were working on a cure
.. that would END the pestilence.. why?
I like the death
I *LIKE* the misery
I LIKE THIS WORLD!!!!!

Space, The Final Frontier
These are the voy-voy-voyages of the Starship TICAL

As I walk in the shadow of death
Sixteen men on a dead man's chest
Your host this evening for H-O-T
N-I-S, you get splashed with the Tec
Nobody go, til the God say so
You got a second or mo', to run for the do'
Before I blow back off the map, contact
You didn't know stack, couldn't get down like that
Who want them test rocket launcher, YES
Mr. Meth, hold the fort, most def'
Kids is dead wrong, song's too long
Get swung on, can't we all get along?
See my pinkie, see my thumb
See that kid with the pawn shop gun?
Bust your gums, leave your whole shit numb
Mmmm now what's this? Smell like fish
Mr. Big Mouth, the gat be trout
You need to douche out your style no doubt
Johnny struck through the Shaolin slum
PRUM PRUM PRUM on my Shaolin drum
Niggaz don't dare, to step in the square
Kids ain't playin over here, PLAYA
Only one way, and that's my way
Grim Reaper callin, Judgement Day
(10) Ten let the countdown begin
(9) I was born in the mind
(8) Take the head of a snake
(7) Behold Armaggedeon
(6) Ain't no love for the rich
(5) Only strong will survive
(4) Cause we live by the sword
(3) Plus sixty degrees
(2) For the black and the blue
(1) For the sun.. step into millenium
The name of this one is Judgement Day
No more BS, can't come out and play
Don't blame me, blame society
Type of chemistry for a live MC
Hands in the air like you just don't care
You all get a share, there's a party over here
Year two-thousand, keep bouncin
T-Minus, thirty seconds and countin
New York's finest, still wildin, Shaolin
At the full moon howlin
Get Til It's Gone, killa bee kills
Only time will reveal like the words in the song
Cause love's what I feel for my crew, bust steel
Niggaz don't got to pay my bills
P.L.O. pack the slingshot flow
Plant the seed, let the garden grow
And stick that rhyme where the sun don't shine
Darts pierce your heart like a Valentine
Tis my Tale From the Crypt that's sick
Bloodbath, body baths and shit
U-F-C fightin championships
G.I. Joe's with the Kung-Fu Grip
Now you don't dare, to step in the square
Kids ain't playin over here, PLAYA
Only one way, and that's my way
Grim Reaper callin, Judgement Day
C'mon.. I said c'mon..
(10) Ten let the countdown begin
(9) I was born in the mind
(8) Take the head of a snake

Method Man 1998, Judgement Day, a brilliant song, but I don't know which line Ludacris was addressing as the Hash Tag Flow line... It's one line? Is one line enough? I think Method Man has some freestyle and rhymes mainly. I think it's got to be at least a couple articulated bars. Q-tip had more and did it earlier.

This sounds Hash Tag... Maybe...
Grim Reaper calling, Judgement Day

Here's another possible Hash Tag about 4 bars, partially freestyle.

Before I blow back off the map, contact
You didn't know stack, couldn't get down like that
Who want them test rocket launcher, YES
Mr. Meth, hold the fort, most def'

I believe that Biggie had something else prior in 1997... Idk what that was... that's before my time... Do you know what that one was? I think Ludacris mentioned it.

This is my rough draft conclusion about Hash Tag Flow.

The term was coined by Kanye West on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show November 3, 2010.

Pioneers of Hash Tag Flow are:
1. It's origin, the Zulu tribe of South Africa 16th Century.

2. (1991) A Tribe Called Quest "Buggin' Out" - The Low End Theory which included Q-tip and Ludacris.

3. (1997) Biggie -- ???? the song Ludacris referred to (still looking into this song).

4. (1998) Method Man "Cradle Rock" ft Left Eye, Booster - Tical 2000: Judgement Day.

5. (2003) Cam'Ron "Dipset Anthem" ft Juelz Santana- Diplomatic Immunity (still looking into this song).

6. (2007) Kanye West "Good Life" ft T-Pain - Graduation (still looking into this song).

7. (2008?) Bobby V "Beep" Remix ft Ludacris, Lil'Wayne - "Rebirth" (still looking into this song).

8. (late 2008) Drake - "Forever".

9. (end of 2008/early 2009) Big Sean "Supa Dupa" and "Supa Dupa Lemonade" - Finally Famous Vol 3: BIG.

10. (2010) Drake - "Over".

Who was the first to invent it? Honestly, I think there were too many freestyle flows that included it, that there, with Kanye's permission, define Hash Tag Flow, as more than just a 2-bar or 4-bar, but the song in it's whole should be Hash Tag in order to claim the artist of "origination". There are too many artist that want to claim it with two bars or so, and I don't think that's earned.

The consensus and argument for Big Sean "Supa Dupa" is that the entire song is ALL Hash Tag Flow... You can't deny that. Unless someone else did a whole song in entirety for Hash Tag flow prior to "Supa Dupa" release date April 16, 2009, Big Sean, no question about it, originated Hash Tag Flow.

Are there any arguments for "whole" songs in entirety that are solely composed of Hash Tag Flow in entirety prior to Big Sean's "Supa Dupa"? If not... some times people that are starting out do big things, give credit to Big Sean.
