Back to the pride convo though, my perspective... Every time you end a letter it's "see you soon" like a Dear John. Your CD, your subject matter I respect that, however this song is ok at most. Ive read through a few comments thus far, I feel where the fans are coming from and I also feel where some disappointment comes from. Like the meaning but to me the song was too short, the beat was simple and I feel like putting the song on the CD as it is is where my disappointment would come from. You look at Fancy, Best Ive Ever Had, Replacement Girl, Bad Meaning Good, and other "Girl Anthems" you see something much more than one verse of truth. This song has one verse which I feel, Nikki and boom its over, thats disappointing to fans, and as Drizzy fans you should not settle for something. Drake is a perfectionist and lyrically one of the most talented players in the game. I hope you read this and add a bit more to this song if you really wanna keep it as a single, and secondly fans I know youre high off the new music, but honestly you know your boy has more in him than this, Free Spirit and Club Paradise are good examples of this. Good work, but as a listener and an artist I feel and know you can do better. Take Care brother.

You do a verse, your feature does a verse and you're out. Before you say it, I do appreciate the fact that you do the chorus, you are doing more work than you need to - It just happens you have a natural talent for that particular part in a song.
However, I sigh. You make great music, no doubt about it but you cannot, for any second, dare to pass this off as an improvement from TML.
I remember reading an article on TC, you said you would get back to your rap roots - a little more SFG. To be honest, I don't care for that - Marvin's Room, Club Paradise and Headlines are all songs of great quality.
It just sadly becomes apparent that you're simply using a formula that has worked - and in theory, there's nothing wrong with that.
(I could tell you all the similarities between the songs you've released so far to the ones on TML, but I nod my head, so I won't do that to you.)
Basically what I'm saying is, If you have any features, I hope they go further than the you in, feature in, chorus out formula. It'd be a shame to see 40 as the only one progressing here.
And to all the girls and guys that scream 'Drake' - He doesn't "get attracted to fans, as an eager beaver can be the collapse of a Dam."
If you were a real fan, you'd know that anyway.

I said I would watch SNL and I did. Anna Farris was not funny. The girl skits were not good. I used to laugh so hard at SNL that my stomach would hurt afterwards, but I just could not find the humor in it. Where's the punch line? No. I think that was the first SNL I didn't find funny. Drake, your skits were the only funny part of the show especially the interview.
Drake and Nicki brought it back though. Drake was an awesome Halloween candy stealing teen-wolf. Sound check was bad with Headlines. I would have cut them off, but live? You can't do anything, but go with it. I think 10 more minutes, the music would have been better. You handled it VERY well. That's stressful. Where was Maroon 5? I would like to know... "Make Me Proud" saved the night... Nicki Minaj was the best surprise on the show. She's so pretty and talented. SNL is saved!!!

I agree with the other ppl being kinda disappointed. Drizzy you came off alot better on mixtapes and despite what you think I LOVED thank me later. Still listen to it. So far not to impressed. Kinda feel like his voice was slippin a lil as well during SNL skits and performance. Just didnt have the same Drake vibe. I will however cop Take Care. Im confident w/ Drake on that level.
