This is a nice song btw. Its been a long time since we've seen Nas. It sounds like he was talking about Kelis. They were a hot couple back then. I guess ppl grow apart and learn that they have different things in common with eachother. Relationships sucks. I'm Single but I have some friends that are in relationships and they always have some type of problems. Me personally, I like to keep my options open especially since I'm not Married. Marriage is a big step also having Kids with someone. Kids are blessings from God but its important to carefully choose your Babys father/mother bc that's life. I don't like being Single, I'm actually not dating anyone. I feel like I have a lot on my plate to accomplish and get done until I can spend quality time, money, and anther thing to worry about besides bills, money and goals.

I was talking about Relationships bc the song is about that. I was just stating what my personal beliefs are. I'm a female and a beautiful one and I'm just saying not everyones fucked up these days. There are many situations in life. In my case, I don't get a lot of credit. A lot of people don't get credit for a lot of things. I don't know what happened in real life with they're relationship but Nas is speakin from his POV. I'm only speaking from my POV of how I don't get credit for a lot of things & I'm not even involve with anyone & ppl judge me all the time.
Fuck what people think. They prob jealous. We are all made to Love. Some love with a lil mo passion. In order to find myself and who I am there has to be love in my life.It does not mean it has to be the romantic kind although that is what pro creation is about. I say fuck em girl fuck em.
I think it is about finding your best friend and not expecting them to be perfect. No one is perfect and if you search for perfection than it aint real. btw that enough said track is great!

I'm sure there was a lot of gossip about Kelis & Nas relationship. That is probably why he put it in a song. I know what its like when people try to steal credit from you or try to use you. Thank God, I avoided those type of situations but the Devil has many ways to get at you. That is why Id rather be alone bc I'm more focused and get things done. I don't stress out bc of Drama. I don't have time for shit like that. Work is already stressful sometimes and to stress over a person and put another weight on my shoulders is not what I need. Then again, everyones different...that's where dating comes in but shit I don't have time for that either bc I'm worried about myself, my future, my shit

I guess I have to until I'm successful to find a Real friend bc I'm not perfect and I'm not looking for someone perfect but someone that's positive and mature. Its really hard for me to just let someone in my life. I've been taken advantage of before and I have trust issues. I'm not scared of anything but the scariest thing is falling for someone that's in your life especially if your used to being alone.
I'm not selfish at all..I just have some trust issues. I believe there are some crazy ppl in this world that would like to use and abuse me. I'm independent...and I'm human, most importantly I'm a woman and I am sensitive. The last thing I need is a headache before going to work or after work.

I'm totally independent and I'm fine with waiting until I'm successful bc right now in life I feel like no one understands me. I hate when people try to pretend like they understand or care about me. I'm craving communication, trust, respect and loyalty bc I never really had that. I'm usually the one who gets their heartbroken and cheated on. I'm always faithful and honest. I never really get what I want. Its never really about me or what I want. I'm a passionate lover and I feel like if I'm going to spend time with them then I want to be Real friends with them and be able to communicate. I crave understanding, trust, friendship and real love..

There's two sides to every story. Personally, I would want to hear Kelis' side too. She was abandoned by Nas at 7 months pregnant. When you get married, it's for better or worse. That means for good or bad, you stay put. Only a douche bag would leave their wife in her time of need. Hello, it's not Kelis' dad's fault, he's not the one walking out, it's Nas. If you are a douche bag guy that ditches a pregnant wife, own it. That's why Nas is paying a high amount in child support. Blame Kelis like she is a golddigger, not that Nas walked out. Of course it's never Nas fault. Maybe Kelis will write a man bashing song and settle the score.
