Toronto definitely has its rough edges. I mean, Ive never been there, but there has to be.

Trust, I'm from one of the lower income communities in toronto (inhale, exhale, big up rexdale!) and there are places in toronto that have it harder than other. I wouldn't compare it to detroit or compton, etc. but you have your robberies, gang violence, shootings, stabbings, etc. and definitely some areas are worse than others. generally, i'd say toronto is a pretty safe place, it all depends on the people you keep around you.
And I agree with RellyRellz, there are "bad" parts in every city around the world.

I didn't go to TAO/Vegas on October 22... I didn't make it. My little entourage flaked out on me, but not by choice. I genuinely believe that everyone wanted to go to TAO in Venetian the night of your birthday party, but it didn't happen. I was going with two of my cousins. One of my cousins, her fiance broke down in Reno so she had to go get him. My other cousin had to leave work early because she was getting sick. They sent her home. I tried to call some last minute friends, but TAO/Venetian is one of the most expensive clubs on The Strip and they have a strict dress code. I don't believe there is VIP service. You just have to wait in line. Locals don't like that.
My other girlfriend is in L.A. My "back up plan" guy turned me down flat. Rich boy I know has money got ripped off pretty bad by the Venetian "bunnies" a bunch of playboy Vegas girls that dupe guys into spending all their cash. He said it was too promo. I got dressed up and was going to TAO by myself, but my uncle, who is like a stand-in dad threw a fit at me... Nothing was working out about going to TAO, and I had to compromise somehow with my uncle. My uncle wanted to drag The Strip in my convertible. That's as close as I could get to TAO.
I like that picture of you in Vegas. You look handsome. Was that you off the top of the Venetian? I was in that picture, just microscopic. See the ball of light in the center, that's the Bellagio light show. Above it a bunch of tiny dots of car headlights on The Strip. One of those headlights was me in my convertible. Zoom in a zillion times, you'll probably see me. :)
I hope you had a Happy 25th Birthday. I sure missed out...Wish I could have been there.
