But Flaunting or bragging about it by posting these series of pics was something I didn’t expect coming from you. You’re better than that. These pics now emphasize smoking as part of your image. You don’t need that, it’s not who you are. You’re successful because of your talent and your personality stands out from the rest of your peers, which is why I’m fond of you. Don’t let the fame get to your head stay humble. Many people would consider this stereotypical hip hop artist behavior. You’re not a typical artist so be careful and think about the material you put out for people to see. From what I hear, you sometimes go around to schools to talk to kids. But how can you give them positive advice when you have these pics floating around on OVO suggesting smoking is cool? You don’t want to be perceived as a hypocrite…be careful. Remember, you do have a younger demographic that looks up to you. Also, businesses look for artist to endorse their products and they do pay attention to your websites and what you’re doing, so that’s another thing you want to think about. Normally I wouldn’t put any energy into writing such a letter to anyone of your status. But through all my 27 years of life I haven’t came across an artist I can relate to and connect with more than you. So you’re worth my energy and time. The purpose of my writing this is because I don’t want to see you do something that may hinder you in any way. I’m just looking out for your best interest because I genuinely care. Very few people on here agree you shouldn’t have these pics on here. Others think it’s cool because you’re Drake. But I’m here to tell you different because that‘s what people who care about you do. They aren’t afraid to tell you you’re wrong or that you’re making a bad decision. Please take in consideration everything I said. In the future it’s best to keep your smoking pics private, ok? I don't always agree with some of the things that Drake does, esp the smoking but at the end of the day I can appreciate that Drake is a full grown man and is accountable for his own actions (good and/or bad) so who am I to judge.
Anyhow, the pictures remind me of a classic piece of art of one of my favorite entertainers. He just looks so out of touch and for some reason I find that incredibly sexy.
I've noticed quite a few comments are really anxious for Drake to put out new material. I prefer for him to take his time and come out with some fresh "quality" material; that doesn't feel rushed. After all I'd like to think that Drake does have a life outside of the entertainment world and is probably working on his material now for all of his fans to enjoy.
