Just seen this video on MTV a few minutes ago. Very nice. Ten times better than "Best I Ever Had" (sorry Kanye). I can't wait to see/hear more.

+ it was sick to see you in your hometown, riding around the same streets that you were probably envisioned the success you have achieved.
+the setting, dark, gloomy.. complimented the beat perfectly
+you had the money, cars, clothes--sick gear too
- a few of the short scenes was a bad shot, looked awkward and i thought should have been edited out of the video..(one you blinked like 50 times lookin at sky and it looked stupid)
-you didnt reinact last verse. i thought a scene of u and ur ma in the driveway followed by you being out buying mad drinks with your crew (40, oliver..who i thought should have made an appearence in the vid)would have been sick.
i love the video..but seriously, what haven't i liked from you? but as u already told me when u were in houston..u dont really need the hoes. REMEMBER THAT! one.
Love the song don't like drakes face, he is not sexy at all. But, his lyrics are RAW and thats all that matters.

i feel like this video doesn't add up to the song...
the video should of had like a real storyline of someone who became successful not bout y'all just drivin round in a car lookin at others...
i abs love almost every song drake makes or is featured but his talent is not being portrayed correctly in the vids.....
its just like drake is any other artist when he is NOT...
and where is Weezy at? his verse was sick too....
one thing that artists fail in now a days is the need for special effects when really a video should display the story of the song....thats all im sayin

Everyone wants a literal interpretation of the song...that's so 1980's.
I like this video. It's moody (like the track) and I dig the cuts where Drake and Trey are seeing themselves in the shoes of some of the people they encounter.
Drake I lov all ur music like my ipod iz full wit it but The only person i think the video supported was Trey like it wasn't bad but Trey had all the good parts but it was ur song..idk But Imma always b a fan nd I don't think the vids show all ur potential but den again ya muzic truley speaks 4 itself. Imma get that Thank me later thogh wen it drops.

Love the film noir videography, the video is sick.
I saw the video. I'm really feeling the whole album, honestly. I bumped it for about a month straight. Successful was actually my favorite song. I had a totally different vision for it though. I don't know what the budget was on it, but I pictured a lot of fading shots of money, and the ladies, maybe shopping in a high end store. Sounds atypical for a video, but that was what the lyrics depicted. Just an overall crazy mesh of what it is to be Successful right now. Should have been more flossin'. Not hating at all though, I think your still doing a stand up job man. I'm impressed.
I love both of them as artists although my personal favorite of Trey was back in the old "gotta make it" days lol this video is a perfect representation of what Drake can do as an artist. I love him in my opinion than anyone but I felt he needs\ed to grow as a performer and this video gave me hope to which he is learning fast. when a scholar you tend to learn faster. love you babe.
